Dog Training FAQ's
-
Is my dog too young or too old?
Dogs should be least 2 months old to start training, but they are never too old begin.
-
Do you offer group classes?
All lessons are 1-on-1 for the most effective and custom approach.
-
How long are lessons?
1 hour, any longer is too much for one session for the dog.
-
Can we train 2 or more of my dogs at the same time?
While this is possible, it is not the most effective approach. Down the line, once each dog has an advanced level of obedience, this can be done.
-
How long should I train my dog each day?
Depending on the dog, roughly 1 hour per day, short sessions spread throughout the day.

Each lesson is customized to each dog and owner, if you’re already through the basics then we can start into the harder lessons.
-
What do I need to bring to my first lesson?
Your dog, their collar, and their leash.
-
My dog is reactive and/or aggressive. What's better to do; lessons or the Board and Train program?
Aggressive and reactive dogs usually take longer than the 2-week board and train program to really improve, so individual lessons are best for these types of dogs.
